Eleonora Costi photographs the decadent beauty of buildings that were forgotten in time.
The Milanese photographer Eleonora Costi spent the last three years traveling to Italy to discover ruined castles, abandoned villas, hotels, and hospitals for the Abandoned H.Ell project. "I like to photograph old, abandoned buildings. It reminds me that everything is temporary. I wanted to show that there is an inconspicuous beauty in those places that people no longer see. It is regrettable that these buildings cannot be saved. Some of these are completely forgotten, totally corrupted. There are rules in my work. I do not get anything, and I do not touch anything. I want to preserve their beauty. "

Sammezzano Castle is a diamond of oriental architecture in the center of Italy. Efforts are being made to save. In the past, it has often been the scene of fashion photography by many well-known designers. "© Eleonora Costi
